Business Analyst vs. Business Process Analyst
This was asked by one of my students as to which role she should choose when she is offered the choice by her organization. Both roles are valuable to the organization and can be very fulfilling.
So let us understand the similarities and differences and chose which one is more appropriate for whom.
As we observe, Business Process Analyst is essentially a subset of Business Analyst. So, folks who are not in Business Analyst profession but would like to get into Business Analyst profession, Business Process Analyst could be act as a stepping stone.
Couple of years of experience in Business Process Analyst will surely help someone to Business Analyst role.
So if you are finding hard to get a good Business Analyst role, do go for a good Business Process Analyst role.
